Kool Wrap DCI Aluminium Exhaust Heat Shield, Embossed, Semi Rigid, Steel-Ceramic 1000°C, Wrap Around 63mm ID x 60cm Long

The Kool Wrap XT-5000 pipe shield range are ideal for ultra high temperature applications with temperatures up to 1,000°C. They can be clamped directly onto pipes toward the rear of an exhaust, typically after catalytic converters. They are made to suit pipes from 2″ to 3″ in diameter and come in a 300mm and 600mm length. This part number is 60cm long. Fitting the shields requires the use of hose band clamps.

These sheets can reduce heat by up to 90%. The shape can be easily modified by bending or trimming with tin snips or similar

Aluminium is the ideal choice of material as it offers a high corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, is highly reflectively and has a low emissive rate.

Also available, stainless mounts for hose clamps to space shield off round piping such as exhaust pipes.
