Kool Wrap Removable Exhaust Blankets are made from 3 layers of heat protection materials. Heat and sound absorbing silica needle felt wool is sandwiched between an inner layer of stainless steel wire mesh on the inside and a heat proof outer layer of silicone coated fibreglass cloth.

Many Mine Sites and Tunnel projects require vehicles and machines to have exhaust manifold, turbocharger and exhaust system covers or heat shield blankets to reduce the chances of a fire due to oil spills onto red hot exhaust systems. A custom made Kool Wrap Blanket repels all fluids and is an effective safety measure to reduce the chances of a fire.
