Kool Wrap Removable Exhaust Blankets are made from 3 layers of heat protection materials. Heat and sound absorbing silica needle felt wool is sandwiched between an inner layer of stainless steel wire mesh on the inside and a heat proof outer layer of silicone coated fibreglass cloth.

Kool Wrap blankets will significantly lower ambient temperatures in marine engine rooms and comply with all marine regulations including Marine Order 503. The Teflon or Silicone coated outer cover repels fluid spills such as engine oil or hydraulic fluid and helps to prevent the chances of an engine room fire.

We also custom make covers for exhaust systems and mufflers.
