Kool Wrap DCI Aluminium Exhaust Heat Shield, Embossed, Semi Rigid, 6 layer,Wrap Around 63mm ID x 60cm Long, rated to 600°C

The Kool Wrap TF-600 pipe shield range are ideal for high temperature applications, suitable for temperatures up to 600°C. They can be clamped directly onto pipes toward the rear of an exhaust, typically after catalytic converters. They are made to suit pipes from 2″ to 3″ in diameter and come in a 300mm and 600mm length. This part number is 60cm long. Fitting the shields requires the use of hose band clamps.

These sheets can reduce heat by up to 90%. The shape can be easily modified by bending or trimming with tin snips or similar

Aluminium is the ideal choice of material as it offers a high corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, is highly reflectively and has a low emissive rate.
