Kool Wraps latest heat shield tape is the Silver Wrap reflective tape range. Silver Wrap Heat Shield Tape is a made from aluminium foil adhered to a thick fibreglass insulating backing, and then a high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive layer is bonded to the tape. The Kool Wrap Adhesive Tape can be used to reflect heat away from air intake tubing, air boxes, engine bay firewalls, engine covers, motorcycle fairings and anywhere where heat could cause damage.

We have seen it used on aircraft engine covers and even model aircraft!

Features:

• Kool Wrap Heat Shield Tape will reflect 95% of radiant heat
• Kool Wrap Heat Shield Tape can withstand up to 850°F (454°C) in radiated heat.
• Aluminium Foil melting point is 1,200°F (650°C)
• It can easily be cut to size with scissors
