DCI Starter Motor Shield Kit, Embossed aluminium heat shield with mounting kit, up to 600°C

Suitable for temperatures up to 600°C, the starter motor shield helps protect your starter motor and soleniod in even the most extreme temperatures.

The kit is made from 6 layers of embossed aluminium and is designed to fit a large portion of conventional starter motor types. Use our Extreme Kit #KW5021 for applications requiring insulation up to 1,000°C. The kit includes a C clip, rivets, EPDM foam pad for fitment, and a comprehensive instruction kit is also included to walk you though the installation process.
